I fulfil the 9 conditions mentioned here in yellow *

1. I have successfully completed secondary education by September 2026

2. I have at least an intermediate knowledge of English

3. I have experience in studying a European Language as a foreign language, either at school or as an extracurricular course

4. I belong to one of the following categories: asylum seeker (asielzoeker) / recognized refugee (erkend vluchteling) / subsidiary protected person (subsidiair beschermde)

5. I can prove my identity with a valid passport or identity card, an attest van immatriculatie and Bijlage 3 is not sufficient

6. I have a total gross family income of less than €3000 per month.* I can prove this using a recent document (less than one month old) in one of the following categories:

- evidence that I receive a replacement income from the social security services (e.g. minimum wage, unemployment benefit, document from payment institution or public centre for social welfare/OCMW, etc.)

- evidence that I or the person who supports me receive(s) a limited income (e.g. payslip, proof from accountant if self-employed, etc.)

If you are cohabiting or married your partner's income will also be taken into account, so you will have to prove your partner's replacement income or low income. You should also take proof of your family situation

7. I plan to continue studying in Flemish higher education

8. I have a score of at least 40 out of 48 on the COVAAR test (for students aged 17-25 who only completed their secondary school) OR I have a Bachelor or Master degree

9. I can attend classes in a full time study programme from September to June.
